The details:
Our dates this year are Saturdays, September 18th and September 25th!
These short & sweet portrait sessions are $350. Sessions will be 30 minutes long, at an outdoor Nashville location with yellow wildflowers in bloom. (That first photo up there, of Bailey and her dad, was taken on Sept 25th, 2020 at the same location! :)
A $50 deposit will secure your session and is non-refundable (EXCEPT if you let me know beforehand that anyone in your family shows Covid symptoms, I will waive this, because I want to encourage everyone to be safe; OR if I have to reschedule our picture day for any reason, and you cannot make the new date.)
The remaining $300 is due on the day of the session, and buys an online gallery of at least 20 images (edited in both color and black & white; making 40+ images) that I will deliver within three weeks after your session. You can download your photos from this gallery and keep the files forever, and you have the option to purchase beautiful prints and wall art, like framed photos and wrapped canvases, directly through the gallery if you wish. Digital downloads are included in the $350; prints and canvases are optional and in addition to the $350!
Some other thoughts:
Last September, I noticed yellow wildflowers blooming all over Nashville, and I resolved then to plan some family mini sessions for September 2021. I’m hoping to take advantage of those yellow flowers, to help some moms take care of their Christmas cards early, and to offer an alternative to my full-length sessions, if your budget better allows for a mini session, or you think your kids would do better with just 30 minutes, etc. And depending on what you choose to wear, I think these photos could look very summer-y or very autumn-y :)
These mini sessions may not be ideal for multiple / extended families with small kids or frail grandparents. If you want to bring your whole clan, please just let me know numbers and ages in your contact form below, and I will let you know if I think 30 minutes is not enough time, or we will have a conversation about what we can realistically get in that time, to set expectations. :)
If it’s important to you to include a pet for part of the session, I’m fine with that! I may be flying solo on these days, with no assistant to help me, so just be aware of that, know thyself and thy pup, and plan accordingly.
My tentative Rain Plan will be to bump to the following Sunday afternoons, September 19th and 26th.
