Hello, Harpeth Hills Preschool families!
I was honored to have the chance to take school portraits with your beautiful children again this year. And I’m so excited to show you what we got!
To see your child’s school photos, start by clicking on the button at the very bottom of this page! Enter the gallery, type in your email, then select the folder for your child’s age group, teacher, and then your child’s individual folder. Each child has a password on their gallery, and it is the last 4 digits of their mom’s cell-phone number! (So all of your kids will have the same password. There are 3 grandmothers on this list too!)
Print packages, individual prints, digital files, wrapped canvases, class photos, and extra retouching are all available for purchase in this gallery. Please take a few minutes to look at the photos of your child, and explore your options when you click “Buy Photo” or the little shopping cart.
all print orders are due by Thursday, december 1st!
I will order the prints for the entire school all at one time to keep costs low, so that is why there is a time limit on ordering. After December 1st, you can still purchase digital files, but NOT prints or canvases.
Some important info / reminders:
-> Class photos are inside a folder of their own. Be sure to go over to that folder and add a class photo to your cart, if you would like one! That folder’s password will be in an email from HHPS.
-> Our Makeup picture day will be this Thursday, Dec 1st! These families will also have a quick little window to place orders for prints. (until Friday evening! Then on Saturday morning I will order everyone’s prints so I can have them to you before Christmas break)
-> I’m using a Deep Matte paper for your prints this year (that is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!), so the paper will be a little different than last year. Because of this change, I’ve adjusted my prices for the first time - so if you notice a difference, you’re right, and that’s why!
-> I will deliver your prints to Harpeth Hills, and the staff will decide how best to get them to you. They should arrive about 2 weeks after the ordering window closes, so you should get your prints/canvases on one of the last days HHPS meets before Christmas. If you see “Studio Pickup” anywhere, don’t worry about this — it just says that because I don’t have shipping as an option, because I’m going to deliver the prints to Harpeth Hills.
-> Some kids are willing and ready to give me a variety of expressions, while others (especially the very little ones!) are more reserved. This is why some kids may have more photos in their galleries than others. (Please respect the privacy of other families, and only look at your kids’ photos)
-> If you would like anything retouched, remember to purchase Retouching along with your prints or digital files. Please leave me a note when you place your order and tell me what you’re hoping for!
-> There is an automatic discount for multiple albums of digital files: the entire album of digital files costs $55, and each child after the first is just $50 for the entire album. This discount will automatically apply when you add all the digital albums to your cart; I just wanted you to know it’s there!
-> CHRISTMAS. It’s coming! And I think these make amazing gifts :)
Questions about ordering?:
If you run into any questions as you’re ordering, please watch this ordering video below. I’m recycling a video I made for another of my schools, but everything will work exactly the same for you, besides the fact that y’all have passwords on your galleries, and remember your order due date is December 1st. This video is to hopefully answer ALL your questions and help you feel confident as you order. Also - many of the emailed questions I get from parents are just small technical issues on their computer! I am not a computer whiz, but here are some tried and true tricks:
One little quirk I’ve noticed: if you’re trying to add a Collection to your cart, and it’s not working, make sure you’ve clicked “Select Photo” or the + sign at the top of that little sidebar. Make sure the small thumbnail that appears is the correct photo you want for the Collection. That step is a little weird and non-intuitive, but it should let you add it to your cart after that!
If you are trying to place an order on your phone and it is giving you trouble, please try using a desktop computer instead.
If you experience glitches (like not completing your order, etc.) it is more likely your computer that is glitching, and not the gallery website, and sometimes all it takes is closing out of everything, or maybe restarting your computer, and starting the process fresh.
Be sure to enter your email address correctly, because if you purchase digital files, a download link will be automatically sent to the email address you enter! When you download the photos, they should go to your Downloads folder.
